The '06 Reunion of Leete Hall/ ICS will be June 9-11, 2006 at The Atherton Hotel.
The website for the hotel is http://www.athertonhotel.net/ , phone is 814-231-2100 or 800-832-0132, fax is 814-237-1130. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING AND PAYING FOR YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS.
Donna has reserved a block of standard rooms for us at a rate of $85/night for Friday and Saturday night. There are a limited number of King rooms at this rate. There are also several suites and executive rooms available at your own discretion.
When reserving your rooms, our online reservation code is LEETE090606. If reserving by phone, mention the Leete Hall Reunion. Reservations must be received no later than May 9, 2006. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Check in is 3pm. Check out is 12noon.
This is the same hotel used for the 2001 reunion, and it worked out very well. It has a just-right sized bar in the lobby and they are able to accommodate us for a Happy Hours on that Friday night, June 9. For all of the lawyers out there (and I know you’re out there) here’s the fine print: The occupancy tax for State College is currently 8.5%. In order to guarantee reservations, a deposit for one night’s room and tax payable by credit card will be required at the time the request is made, otherwise the room will be held until 6pm on the date of arrival and subject to cancellation at that time. Individual reservations must be changed or cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival or the reservation is subject to full charge of all nights’ room and tax revenue. Early departure will result in an Early Departure Fee of $50. My signature is on the contract and I still have 1.5 semesters of out of state tuition at Nit U to pay and another 4 years somewhere for the second one who’s mumbling about Cornell. Have mercy.
We'll have more details after the holidays - likely a dinner & dancing at the Nit Inn. We're still missing an awful lot of names and contact information. If you have names and emails, please pass this information on to those alum, or send the information to me or Mike and we'll make sure folks are included.
